So, today is the 14th March. If Albert Einstein would have been in the land of the living, he would have celebrate his 139th B-day, today 😉 . He could have also celebrated a Pi Day, together with us. Pi day is an annual celebration of mathematical constant of 3,14 known as Pi. Because we hide behind this particular logo, we would like to tell you few reasons why we chose this constant. Since I remember, I always wanted to have my own company, and double Pi always meant to be its name. So, the only thing left to do, was to come up with the logo…
It wasn’t that hard, as π was always my favorite and the most interesting number. Pi means infinity and this how we would like to see our business:) For example, Hubert de Givenchy passed away four days ago, but his name and his brand will remain with us for as long as people will appreciate his work and continue to create on his behalf.
Pi represents colours. When you start analyzing this number you can discover, that there is more than just mathematics. There is a whole palette of colours! And isn’t this one of the main things in fashion???
The fact, this number is so intriguing and fascinating, that people compete with each other by reciting this number, they sing songs about it as well. It makes people think and provokes to discover new ways of usage of Pi in our lives.
We hope you enjoyed this day. If not maybe you will grab a big slice of that Pi(e) next year:)
